Insight Global is hiring an IBM Mainframe Developer to join our Fortune 500 client, an IT infrastructure services provider. This developer will be involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years experience with COBOL programming on IBM z/OS mainframes. Experience should include monitoring production work including systems analysis and design, program, unit and integrated testing.

4+ years experience utilizing IBM JCL and CICS programming

4+ years experience working with IBM DB2

4+ years experience monitoring production work and performing error diagnostic/debugging activities in a mainframe environment

3+ years experience creating and maintaining documentation related to designing, programming, and testing in a mainframe environment

3+ years experience performing system to system integration across heterogeneous platforms (such as Windows, Linux, and AIX) utilizing a Service Oriented Architecture. null
