AGCO is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated professional to join the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team as an Occupational Health Services Manager in Assumption, IL. The primary responsibility is to provide subject matter expertise and advanced leadership for successful development, implementation and maintenance of a high performing EHS system for GSI, North America. This position will make independent nursing judgements for the purpose of effectively managing workplace injuries, maintaining medical records, providing appropriate medical emergency response leadership, collaborating with Workers Compensation Administrator and partnering with EHS Team to promote reduction of EHS risk for associates. The Occupational Health Services Manager will balance the needs of the business and the associate while maintaining ethical standards of care.

Your Impact

  • Clinical Care and Safety

  • Clinical and primary health care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.

  • Maintains injury treatment and diagnosis information in accordance with OSHA standards.

  • Maintains current CPR/FA/AED/BBP/CAOHC certification.

  • Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensures compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing occupational medicine.

  • Investigation, monitoring, and analysis of medical records and occurrence trends.

  • Maintains medical records; ensures confidentiality according to enterprise policy and procedures.

  • Manages the operation of contract medical assistance at all assigned locations. This includes physician scheduling, interaction, nursing support, and overall communications.

  • Maintains the medical facility with supplies and ensures security of medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations for GSI, North America.

  • Program Management, Development, and Implementation

  • Develops wellness policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain health and wellness of employees.

  • Develops and implements programs to effectively monitor and manage occupational medicine practices.

  • Provides appropriate medical emergency response leadership.

  • Responsible for various Medical Monitoring programs and recordkeeping for all GSI, North America locations; work injury treatment and occupational return to work case management for GSI, North America, along with Workers Compensation Administrator.

  • Leadership and Collaboration

  • Serves as a leader and/or subject matter expert for development, improvement, and/or update of EHS policy and programs.

  • Serves as a leader and/or subject matter expert to develop wellness policy and programs to benefit associates and business.

  • Collaborates with Benefits Manager to identify top medical conditions to plan and implement appropriate wellness activities in order to reduce corporate spending for medical claim costs.

  • Interacts closely with Workers Compensation Administrator for Nurse Case Management of occupational injuries and illnesses across GSI, North America

  • Partners with EHS functions to promote reduction of EHS risk for employees at all locations.

  • Interaction with medical professionals from hospitals and clinics across GSI, North America, for the purpose of advancing Occupational Health practice to meet the needs of the associates and the business.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Current license as Registered Nurse, State of Illinois required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Occupational Health, Emergency, or Ambulatory Care

  • Current in CPR/AED

  • Ability to perform patient assessment

  • Familiar with ADA, Bloodborne Pathogens, DOT.

  • Knowledge of professional medical administration philosophies & strategies

  • Strong leadership in high-pressure scenarios with the ability of quick decision-making in emergencies amidst varied opinions.
