Your role:

•\tActively track China market development and identify trading or revenue opportunities

•\tManage interest rate risks of client order flows via fixed income trading

•\tPrice transactions for investment bank and wealth management businesses in UBS China Limited

•\tWork closely with bank's Treasurer to ensure that regulatory Liquidity, funding and capital requirements are met

•\tManage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk and compliance risk

•\tAssist manager and APAC team to review front-to-back, activities, procedures and business development

Your team:

Group Asset & Liability Management (GALM) is a treasury trading function that manages UBS's balance sheet portfolio risks, such as liquidity, funding and interest rate rates. Its trading mandates cover bond, money market, repo and derivatives in China interbank market. This role is an excellent opportunity for a junior trader to learn about all aspects of treasury trading and asset and liability management.

Your expertise:

•\tMinimum of 1 year bond or money market trading experience in China, repo trading experience or existing client network is a plus

•\tBachelor or above in a financial or analytical subject

•\tFluency in Mandarin & English (both written & spoken)

•\tStrong interpersonal and analytical skills, ability to explain highly technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

•\tAble to work under pressure and quickly assess the risk vs. reward of a trade/decision

•\tAdvanced user of Excel, PowerPoint and bond trading system, knowledge of VBA is a plus
