INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Investment consulting team provides Investment consulting and fiduciary management services to pension schemes. Optimize and manage third party spend to realize savings for AON globally.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Incumbent would be responsible to support the firm’s investment consulting operations in the execution and delivery of investment consulting services to external clients. Primarily be responsible for conducting macroeconomic research and providing macroeconomic reports and financial market updates on various asset class performance across different geographic regions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assisting with preparation of periodic financial market update reports that provide clients and consultants an overview of the financial markets during the specific time span.

  • Data collection, news aggregation and research of various market events and economic releases across all major economies.

  • Producing quarterly and monthly market commentary covering various asset classes such as equities, fixed income, hedge funds, real estate, private equity, etc. for all major economies across the globe

  • Producing periodic economic chart packs using third party investment tools that enable clients and the Global Asset Allocation onshore teams to pick macro-economic trends across various economies.

  • Ad-hoc offshore research and data collection support as and when are necessary to the Global Asset Allocation team.

  • Contribute towards developing future team capabilities to work on investment outlooks and forward looking macroeconomic insights/reports.

  • Source, prepare and analyze investment fund related information, using Microsoft Excel and proprietary software

  • Prepare Manager Search Reports

  • Prepare Quarterly Monitoring Reports

  • The individual will be required to produce such reports in a time bound manner and also assist with coordination and completion of research tasks, data collection and analytical work including client presentations for a variety of regional offices around the globe.

  • Prepare Research packs for Global Investment Management manager meetings

    SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel application, including the ability to create graphs and tables

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint application, ability to prepare client presentations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word application, ability to prepare client Quarterly Monitoring Reports

  • Communicate with colleagues around the world, to identify their needs

  • Liaise with investment managers and collect information on their offerings

  • Demonstrate initiative in completing projects

  • Ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment on a variety of projects, receive instructions from a number of people, and meet project deadlines

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
