Description

We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our client's team, located in Bonita Springs, Florida. This role involves managing customer credit accounts, resolving credit inquiries, and maintaining accurate credit records.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of accounts/clients using external credit risk management tools/reports.

• Support collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio.

• Document daily collections activity.

• Research account disputes and billing discrepancies.

• Perform account/payment reconciliations.

• Respond to credit inquiries from external and internal clients.

• Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts.

• Identify bad debt or financial exposure.

• Use skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections to ensure efficient operation.

Requirements • Proven experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar within the Rental/Leasing Services industry

• Solid understanding of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g., Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections)

• Familiarity with laws related to debt collection (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act)

• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases

• Comfortable working with targets and tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to create and present detailed reports

• Ability to resolve conflicts and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of accuracy and efficiency

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
