A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEAD PICKLEBALL PROFESSIONAL:

As ourHead Pickleball Pro,you will lead and supervise all the activities at the member-owned country club pickleball facility. You will manage all staff pickleball professionals, as well as the day-to-day Pickleball operations, instructional programs, preparation, and setup. You will also be responsible for overseeing the recreational and competitive offerings and leagues at Bonita Bay Club. The Head Pickleball Pro will work closely with the Director of Sports and other sports professionals to coordinate events, communications, and instruction.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in a similar position may fulfill degree requirements.
• IPTPA and/or USPTA certified, with previous country club experience.
• Must have a pickleball game of 4.0+ or higher.
• Must have teaching certification.
• Must have excellent teaching skills and the ability to instruct players of different ages in a professional manner.
• Must have computer skills as it relates to communication and program implementation.
• Must be able to create and share ideas to improve pickleball operations.
• Must be able to anticipate the needs of the membership.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.
• Must be punctual, professional, personable with members and coworkers, and be able to work independently at all times.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. for court setup.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
