Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Burton, Ohio. This role is primarily situated on-site and falls within the finance industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, primarily focusing on accounts receivable, reconciliation, and potentially some collections.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately posting payments received from customers

• Conducting reconciliation processes to ensure financial records are accurate

• Handling potential collections tasks, contacting customers regarding overdue payments

• Utilizing accounting software systems for data entry and record keeping

• Leveraging Microsoft Office Suites, especially Microsoft Excel, for financial analysis and reporting

• Assisting in the billing functions to ensure invoices are sent out timely and accurately

• Monitoring cash activity and ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly

• Processing checks and other forms of payment

• Supporting senior credit analysts in their duties

• Utilizing IBM AS/400 system for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Cash Activity

• Experience in Check Processing
