Marriott Vacations Worldwide Marketing Executive in Cancun, Mexico

  • PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF POSITION A front-line marketing executive, who qualifies leads, provides guest service and generates tour flow by performing the following duties. Supports the In-house team VSC teams with all “heart of the house” guest service, including welcome calls, reservations, tee times, tours and excursion ticket sales, concierge fact sheets, stocking of materials, brochures, maps, etc. Offer value-add guest services to ensure the teams hit their VPG and tour goals. Ensure all guest expectations are met and exceeded. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Positively represent the Company at any off-site locations and maintain a collaborative working relationship with hotel and other tourist industry affiliate employees.

  • Provide concierge services to all resort guests and owners in keeping, maintaining the “service first, product second” approach.

  • Provide excellent guest services, including accurate tourist information.

  • Inspire confidence in the Company through professionalism.

  • Determine guests' eligibility for promotional, gifted presentations, according to the standards described in training.

  • Attract eligible guests to preview the Company vacation ownership program using premiums (gifts).

  • Fully inform every guest about the preview, according to the standards described in Training.

  • Create curiosity about the Company and encourage guests to tour with an open mind.

  • Coordinate (book) the preview tour.

  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.

  • Complete special projects as assigned by Marketing Management QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

  • Requires bilingual fluency (English-Spanish).

  • Availability to work flexible schedules.

  • Sales/Marketing or tourism career background preferred.

  • Proficiency in computer.

  • Exceptional customer service orientation and positive disposition.

  • Excellent verbal/written skills and work standards, follow-up.

  • Building business partnerships attention to details

  • Thriving on ambiguity, openness to differences.
