Location:Hybrid Description: This is a Software Engineer/Consultant expert position. This teamsprimary capability to enable advanced analytics technologies in the Big Data space that will lead to improved quality, design, marketing, and development of our current and future products. This includes creating a production connected vehicle analytics platform to provide insights to engineers that increase quality and improve the value of our products. We arelooking for a full-stack Software Engineer focused on delivering software leveraging Angular, Java and Python based on proven Lean/Agile methods. Knowledge of Big Data tools and techniques is a plus. The Software Engineer will work in a small, cross-functional, and co-located team. The Software Engineer will collaborate directly and continuously with business partners, product managers and designers, and will release early and often. Position Responsibilities: * Work hands-on with the team and other stakeholders to deliver quality software products that meet our customer's requirements and needs. * Help business partners understand our iterative development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through careful and deliberate prioritization. * Grow technical capabilities / expertise and provide guidance to other members on the team Experience Required: Overall 6 years of work experience in delivering customer facing products * Minimum 2 years of strong development experience in at least one of the following technologies: Python (preferred) or Java on a Public Cloud Platform Experience Preferred: * Experience developing software for an Automotive/Manufacturing company * Experience working in a large multi-national company with many diverse stakeholders and potentially competing objectives. Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
