Position summary

As a Senior Producer, you work closely with creative, account and project management departments in developing and producing broadcast and digital content that brings the creative vision to life while managing costs and adhering to deadlines, processes, and guidelines. Senior Producers are creative partners, responsible for evaluating a project’s feasibility, identifying potential pitfalls and finding unique solutions to any production problem. Senior Producers should also have an in-depth understanding of the digital video, audio and social production process, as well as strong knowledge of production partners in the advertising industry. This includes directors, music houses, editors, VFX artists, etc. The ability to manage large-scale projects in conjunction with teams from multiple disciplines is key criteria for this role. Senior Producers should be team leaders, mentoring and supporting junior members within the department. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not a restriction.

Vice President, Director of Production

Responsibilities

  • Serve as day-to-day technical producer for multiple concurrent content projects that vary in size and scope. Responsible for maintaining each project’s production schedule and launch date internally and with outside vendors.

  • Manage and coordinate with outside vendors on development of content production initiatives, ensuring accurate delivery of the end product, on time and within budget.

  • Broadcast point of contact with Advertising Client on specific projects.

  • Manage production jobs including but not limited to broadcast, digital video content, radio, social media content, etc.

  • Research directors, editors, music companies and new media partners to assemble a team that matches the project objectives and creative idea

  • Initiate clear communication and interaction with client, creative teams, and project management.

  • Works closely with Business Affairs, Broadcast Traffic, Product and Project Management from onset of job to completion

  • Manage scope of projects (Deliverables, Creative execution, schedule, and budget) with Account, Creative and Development teams.

  • Identification and vetting of potential vendor partners

  • Execution and completion of other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 6 years’ experience as a Producer or related role

  • Knowledge of Hispanic advertising model

  • Knowledge of latest trends in media

  • Experience working with cost consultants

  • Coordination and management of outsourced vendors

  • Understanding of AICP / AICE bids and guidelines

  • Strong knowledge of the SAG commercial agreement as well as experience with both celebrity and non-union talent

  • Experience shooting with fast food retail clients and Food products.

  • Experience shooting offshore a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Experience working with lower budget video content vendors and producing digital content a plus

Compensation Range: $73,500.00- $123,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
