Job Summary:
This a very fast-paced, hospitality-focused, hotel general manager position in a resort environment. You will be responsible for the daily operation and oversight of hotel operations including housekeeping, front office and work collaboratively with the food & beverage team, facilities/maintenance team, Vail Resorts Group Sales team, and the Liberty Resort Senior Leadership Team and Vail Resorts Corporate Hospitality Team.
The Sr. Property Manager/GM is responsible for delivering the Vail Resorts mission of an “Experience of a Lifetime” to our guests and our team members.
Success in this position includes strong financial acumen and performance, a well-maintained property, and a strong guest service oriented team. You will also work with senior hospitality leadership throughout the region and enterprise to building strong future leaders of Liberty Mountain Resort and Vail Resorts.
A successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate an ability to work through multiple, complex issues with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and sometimes with competing interests and priorities. Candidates must be energized by working in a complex, demanding and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure consistency in deliverables of budgeting, financial analysis, capital planning, and contractor/vendor coordination and property inspections for multiple associations.
Ensure that monthly labor and expenses are in line with the resorts financial budget.
Provide exceptional service to our guests, quickly addressing feedback in a professional and complete manner.
Perform and assign weekly, monthly and quarterly unit and building inspections and provide reports to leadership.
Review weekly work order reports to ensure proper billing and allocations to the proper departments
Consistent task and project tracking, follow through and progress reporting to key stakeholders.
Establish annual goals and responsibilities for direct reporting team, track progress towards goals and monitor achievement of goals.
Foster and reinforce partnership between critical internal and external departments.
Champion quality standards in all areas of the business
Oversee capital projects for company owned assets
Perform quality inspections on individual units daily
Assist Assistant Front Office Manager and Executive Housekeeper in staff training and leadership development.
Participate in Manager On Duty as required
Exercises use of discretion and independent judgment with respect to department operations: assists with the operation of the department from an administrative level: has authority to interpret and implement policies and procedures of the department.

The expected pay range is $65,000 - $75,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
