As part of the Department of Community and Economic Development, you will be responsible for overseeing all economic development marketing services and activities, as well as marketing materials related to various sectors such as Community Housing and Redevelopment, Community Finance, Center for Local Government Services, Business Finance, Technology Investment, International Business Development, Tourism, and Film Production. This includes managing collateral materials, social media, digital and print advertising, metro market missions, and trade mission marketing support. DESCRIPTION OF WORK You will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to the development and execution of goals, policies, and priorities for economic development marketing. This includes recommending marketing strategies for business development and expansion, as well as designing and updating targeted industry recruitment plans. Your role will also involve creating and managing various marketing materials, such as print and electronic communications, videos, and audio. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, marketing, and directing the business recruitment, retention, and expansion program. Building and maintaining effective relationships with developers, site consultants, trade media, and other resources will be crucial in attracting business prospects to the Commonwealth. You will also be responsible for maintaining an inventory of relevant economic statistics, including GDP, workforce data, and cost of living information. When appropriate, you may participate in national tradeshow activities to promote the Commonwealth to targeted industries, working closely with relevant program offices and partners.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. The position will be Headquartered at either the Keystone Building or one of our regional offices closest to the selected candidate. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 4; or Eight years of experience in progressively responsible and varied management or staff work in a large public or private organization, including personnel and fiscal management, budgeting and procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
