Description We are in search of a proficient Financial Data Analyst to join our team based in FARMINGTON, Connecticut. The role involves extracting and validating data using SQL and presenting it through Tableau. You will be collaborating with various groups to understand the source of data and other inputs. This role offers short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting data from SQL databases and validating the accuracy of the extracted data.

• Utilizing Tableau to present the extracted data in a clear and understandable manner.

• Collaborating with various teams to understand the source of data and other inputs.

• Creating dashboards to effectively present data analysis results.

• Performing data mapping to identify patterns and trends in the data.

• Leveraging your skills in Microsoft SQL to manage and manipulate databases.

• Using your proficiency in Tableau to create visual representations of data.

• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

• Identifying and resolving any discrepancies in the data.

• Collaborating with other team members to achieve project objectives. Requirements • Proficiency in creating dashboards to present financial data in a clear and insightful manner

• Strong abilities in data analysis, including interpreting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information and supporting decision-making

• Experience in data mapping to create a unified view of business data and its relationships

• Proficiency in using Microsoft SQL for managing and manipulating financial datasets

• Expertise in using Tableau for creating data visualizations, reports, and dashboards

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong communication skills to effectively present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

• Previous experience in a financial data analysis role is preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

• Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
