Not virtual. Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who must be able to adapt to different learning styles. Are you passionate about teaching and making a difference in a student's academic journey? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide comprehensive support to a homeschooled Junior in High School. The student requires assistance primarily in Math, Chemistry, and general top-line support across other subjects. Job Overview:  Tutoring of Homeschooled High School Junior in need of Chemistry and Algebra Instruction Responsibilities: * Strong knowledge and expertise in high school-level Math and Chemistry curricula. * Be able to provide a session report for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session * Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student * Successfully and professionally teach students to fit their individual needs * Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests * Follow-up with office when a student’s enrollment package is low on hours * Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs * Conduct engaging, and interactive tutoring sessions focused on Math and Chemistry concepts. * Provide additional support and guidance in other subjects as needed, ensuring a well-rounded academic development. * Create personalized lesson plans and materials tailored to the student's learning style and pace. * Monitor progress, identify areas of improvement, and implement effective strategies to enhance understanding and retention. * Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost the student's confidence and motivation. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Math, Chemistry, or related field. 2. Experience working with homeschooled students and understanding of their unique educational requirements. 3. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and resources to facilitate virtual tutoring sessions if needed.   Location: Tutoring sessions will take place in-person at the student's home in Hendersonville and Gallatin alternating weeks.
