Security Service Specialist 1 - Access Controls - 60862 & 60861  

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: What will you do? * Performs commissioning of control systems to ensure proper operation. * Repair and reconfigure control system equipment. * Diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components. * Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues * Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices. * Install, replace, and re-commission devices, equipment, and software * Assist in performing job site training sessions * Provide emergency and warranty service as required. * May perform installation of conduit, cable, and field devices * On-Call Duties on a monthly basis.

Qualifications will make you successful? * Two-year (2) degree in a related field required or related work experience * 2+ years related work experience required. * Experience with Mercury platform access control systems including Genetec Synergis, Lenel Onguard, AMAG Symmetry, and SE Access Expert. * Experience with video management systems including Genetec Omnicast, Milestone, Pelco Video Expert, Vicon, and Bosch * Skills & Abilities: * Solid understanding of access control and/or video surveillance systems. * Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs * Ability to use Smartsheets and Sharepoint * Ability to operate aerial lifts. * Basic understanding of networking. * Excellent customer service skills * Excellent verbal and written skills.
