We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including ing credit, reconciliations, handling RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations), processing freight claims, B2B reminders, follow-ups with vendors and clients, cash applications, and utilizing Excel proficiency for tasks such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. The Accounts Receivable Specialist must be a self-starter, capable of working independently, and possess communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners. 100% IN OFFICE, LOCATED IN 32256

salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • Apply credit to customer accounts accurately and promptly.

  • Perform regular credit reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

  • Process RMAs efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.

  • Manage freight claims, including filing claims, tracking resolution, and communicating with relevant parties.

  • Send B2B reminders for outstanding payments and follow up with vendors and clients as necessary.

  • Apply cash received to customer accounts in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Utilize Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, for data analysis and reporting purposes.

  • Maintain organized records of accounts receivable transactions and documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline processes related to accounts receivable.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts receivable.
