POSITION SUMMARY:

To work in a team comprising design quality verification, test engineering and test equipment management functions. To assist the company to ensure excellent design quality of our power conversion products, and to develop advanced product testing techniques, the position shall focus on both 1) and 2) plus 3) in the Essential Responsibilities below.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design quality verification

• Conduct and attend design review meeting for product design improvements;

• Authorize Design Quality test plan and review compliance matrix on assigned power conversion project;

• Execute Design Quality verification tests to identify design weaknesses according to our DQT process;

• Influence project design engineer to prevent known topology or design pitfalls.

• Support less experience DQT and TE engineer

1. Test platform and ATE (Auto-Test Equipment) test program development

• To support test platform, device drivers development, communication modules, operating GUI development using C#, .Net., ASP.NET, Angular TypeScript

• To support test program and enhanced functions development

• To support development of automated hardware to enhance test capabilities using Ardunio, FPGA, MCU

1. Equipment management

• Mimic use cases of customer system by integrating suitable equipment and tools.

• To support additional test station development.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in engineering or equivalent; Electrical, electronics engineering are preferred, software engineering, computer engineering, industrial engineering with good electronics background are also welcomed;

• Min. 5 years in electronic products field with either

• Min. 3 years in testing or design power electronic products or using C# for controlling test equipment or MCU programming;

• Organized project planning skill;

• Problem Solving and analytical skills;

• Interest in and able to design electronic circuits;

• Programming in various languages;

• With strong communication skill to handle communication with internal and external parties.

Less experience will also be considered.
