Adecco is currently searching for Maintenance Technicians to work here in Lafayette, IN.

Salary will be based off experience.

$28-$34

Duties and Responsibilities

· Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, piping, boiler, steam, cooling tower and pneumatic equipment and systems.

· Bearing installation, shaft installation and alignment, coupler installation and alignment.

· Gearbox and fluid pump rebuild and installation.

· Basic maintenance welding of various metals (Mig, Stick, Tig)

· Thread and run black pipe, stainless steel pipe, and copper pipe.

· Industrial motor installation, alignment, and balancing.

· Industrial machine rigging and installation requirements.

· Maintain lubrication requirements of industrial equipment.

· Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical theories and principles based on the mechanical items listed above, along with properties of various materials, and principles of operations and application of mechanical equipment.

· Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with Rea safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.

· Advises operators of operations procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.

· Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.

· Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.

· Maintains clean and safe work environment.

· Assists maintenance and operations personnel with technical troubleshooting.

· Assists other maintenance and other technical-level employees.

· All other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in the mechanical, hydraulic, piping andpneumatic fields in a manufacturing environment.

• A thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment and piping systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Must be able to become RCRA trained

• Mobile Equipment Certification, including all powered industrial trucks, aerial platforms, etc.

• Ability to comfortably work at various heights and equipment levels.
