Evaluating business, project and user requirements
Documenting these requirements and partnering with data provider peers in Dev and QA teams and the broader project to design and deliver solution in line with Finance targets
Supporting project management tasks
Co-ordinating work with multiple teams in global locations
Managing a discrete portfolio of deliveries ensuring completion
Evaluating and mitigating risk, adhering to financial targets
Assisting in quality control (test cases, performance impact), testing and implementation of change
Partnering with peers in knowledge sharing and meeting team financial targets

The Finance GGL team supports the sourcing and transformation of financial data into the Global General Ledger to create the accounting entries which drive the Financial, Regulatory and Control reporting of the Bank to meet the needs of the IMO, Finance & Regulatory Reporting teams globally.
The GGL team is active in meeting Regulatory demands, Accounting Standard Board changes in our working jurisdictions, and delivering strategic change in line with the Finance Target Operating Model.
You'll be a Business Analyst in the Equity Derivatives GGL team in London working with peers across multiple locations and disciplines.
Team responsibilities include:
Collating requirements from Business SMEs and documenting them clearly
Liaising with the global Equities Finance Data Sourcing team to identify and facilitate upstream RMS changes
Defining the technical solution and facilitating the path to testing and delivery
-Working closely with Dev and QA teams in on-shore and off-shore locations covering CAL, FDD & One Balance applications
Partnering with PM's and Functional Leads in global locations to ensure Programs are on track and working toward being an SME in the product line you are supporting
Providing timely reporting of deliverables and their status to stakeholders or team management
Experience in a business analyst or 'run the bank' capacity supporting Finance (P&L, Legal Entity or Regulatory Reporting)
Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesising skills
Working with and contributing to teams with diverse skillsets
Strong communication skills to present data to a diverse audience with either financial or technical backgrounds
Strong organisational skills
A detail-oriented nature
A university degree
A proven track record in a role like this
Strong technical capabilities to support reporting and analysis from multiple organisational tools
