We’re looking for an experienced Media & Advertising Manager who will be responsible for defining the strategy to connect, engage and convert the brand’s target audiences – utilising media expertise to determine where, when and how to reach them through paid and owned media channels.
You’re a natural leader in your field with an appetite for innovation, often challenging the status quo to drive change. You’ll create and implement media plans to meet our customer and brand needs – maximising revenue by amplifying awareness, consideration and desire for our iconic range of products.
This role acts as the key point of contact with our media agency. You’ll ensure all media and advertising plans are managed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner; while remaining at the cutting-edge of industry innovation, and at the heart of our pioneering brand DNA.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
Deliver annual planning brief to the media agency working with cross-functional teams to collate all inputs / insights and shape the full year strategy
Develop and implement advertising campaigns that build brand equity, loyalty and retention, mapping out the optimal mix of channels to achieve our growth, acquisition and conversion goals
Manage our always-on media strategy delivering our traffic and sales targets by ustilising a cross-channel mix including Paid Search and Paid Social
Set up and manage the ongoing reporting process, giving a consolidated view of performance across the business with a view to accelerating learning across the brand for better ROI
Drive innovation in media through conducting research and identifying new platforms, technologies and solutions – always staying one step ahead of the competition
Create new opportunities to capture quality data
Build an iterative test-and-learn approach into standard workflow – from developing hypotheses to testing, analysing and implementing successful results
Collaborate with the Content Manager to ensure assets are optimised for Media plans and brief adaptations to the Studio team, as needed
Optimise the performance of assets by providing data-based feedback and recommendations to the Content Manager, to ensure production of local assets are aligned with audience and platform needs
Act as the point-of-contact for media direction – working with key departments (product, marketing, online, sales, PR & communications), to ensure plans are in line with brand guidelines and support key business objectives
Manage Paid Media Budget and work with all suppliers and corporate team (as applicable) to ensure accurate accounting
Build and implement owned social media strategy for UK I channels, working with Global counterparts to align to direction, while maintaining local relevance
Coach Social Media Assistant Manager to manage day-to-day running of owned social channels, overseeing calendar and all content streams (Global Content, Influencer Content, Artist Briefs, Local Shoots etc)
Implementation of new reporting structure to showcase channel impact
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE
Able to demonstrate a successful and established career specialised in media and advertising
Demonstrable track record of positive ROI on paid campaigns
Exhibits confidence throughout the paid campaign process – from campaign building and implementing tracking methods, to optimisation and reporting
In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest & YouTube; motivated and passionate about social media
Experience in funnel management, conversion and analytics
Experience leveraging audience signals to improve campaign reach and/or ROAS
Can derive insight from data and is comfortable manipulating and analysing data, able to translate complex channel-level observations into actionable insights
Management experience
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and leadership skills with an entrepreneurial, business-oriented and innovation-eager mindset
Understands best practices and emerging trends within the digital/social
Reporting and ownership of budget
Experience of global brands an advantage
