Job Description

Your role: As Partnerships Executive for News Broadcasting, you will manage delivery, distribution and promotion of our market leading brands, shows and podcasts on audio, broadcast and streaming app platforms.

This exciting and varied role includes supporting the delivery of content, promotional activity, liaising with third party audio platforms, internal partners and external clients and tracking audience performance.

Day to day you will:

  • Work in close collaboration with News Broadcasting internal editorial, marketing, commercial, data and technology teams.

  • Support & develop strong working relationships with News Broadcasting distribution partners such as Acast, Apple and Spotify.

  • Provide market insight for new commercial campaigns and editorial projects.

  • Develop audience development strategies for News Broadcasting brands, content and podcasts and share insights on best practice across different audio and streaming platforms.

  • Stay abreast of platform trends in order to inform the development of content which engages audiences and reaches wide audiences.

  • Monitor and report on performance of News Broadcasting content across various podcast, streaming and social media channels to ensure we are continuously optimising audience engagement.

  • Provide high quality operational support for internal meetings.

  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism at all times

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Knowledge and passion for broadcasting, podcasts and audio content

  • Creative, ideas driven approach

  • Relevant marketing experience is desirable but not essential

  • Ability to use Photoshop or similar would also be desirable

  • Knowledge in creating impactful slides and documents

  • Confidence in handling numerical data

  • Collaborative team player with an adaptive, can do attitude

  • Be an effective advocate for News Broadcasting
