Sonos is currently seeking a Strategic Relationship Manager that is responsible for the overall commercial and operational relationship of key partners. You will be responsible for creating and executing strategies that enable Sonos' supply chain to adapt and scale to accommodate business growth. You will lead cross-functional efforts such as negotiating commercial agreements, costs and optimizing the collaboration between the teams and partners ensuring quality, delivery, costs, lead-times and responsiveness objectives are met. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and other cross-functional teams to create an efficient and robust supply chain. This role can be done from anywhere in the United States or Canada - any of our offices, or remotely from home. It's about impact, not location." What You'll Do... Lead complex engagements on supplier partnerships and strategies with Sonos' senior leadership Develop and lead global sourcing strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment and establishing global scalability. Create advanced analytics and data-driven approaches to improve supplier performance and enable business growth Draft and negotiate commercial agreements to meet both technical, operational and commercial requirements Manage supplier relationships and successfully close complex negotiations including contract negotiations, statements of work, pricing, development and manufacturing support, among other terms Influence partners' manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in beneficial and sustainable ways Collaborate with cross functional teams throughout development builds, end-to-end costs evaluation, supplier engagements, and all other items associated with executing a successful launch Explore, develop and manage 3rd party products and partnerships such as product accessories through CM, JDM or ODM models. Negotiate MVA, NRE and CaPEx costs to ensure best-in-class cost for our products (total landed costs) Actively look for cost optimization opportunities and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve it Comprehend the technical aspects of production and equipment to identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimization Evaluate technical and business risks, analyze based on the data and create mitigation plans/alternatives Working closely with Finance and Engineering to ensure development budgets are accurate and aligned to business objectives Be able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities in parallel What You'll Need Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria.
