Amazon Circular Economy Senior Program Manager, 3P Environmental Compliance in London, United Kingdom

In EU, we continue to observe an unprecedented wave of legislation that impacts Selling Partner (SP) experience (SX), constrains selection and jeopardizes GMS. This increases the complexity and cost of selling in EU and makes compliance the primary barrier to SP launches in the region.

Environmental Compliance manages all regulation Sellers have to be compliant to drive sustainability and protect 3P Business starting from 2 regulations in 2022 to 45+ by 2025 covering 10 EU countries. Those new regulations impacts Seller Experience and increase cost for sellers to sell in Europe. Therefore, the mission of the Environmental Compliance team is to grow seller's business sustainable and globally by removing compliance friction through 360 seller education, seamless compliance SX for our end-to-end products by building profitable services with trusted partners.

As a Senior Program Manager on Circular Economy, you will lead high-impact programs, for Deposit Return Scheme a new environmental regulation, across multiple product and partner teams to deliver strategic initiatives on behalf of our Sellers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple deliverables, passionate about data and Seller Experience, and has excellent business acumen and communication skills. You are excited about the positive impact circular economy can have for Sellers and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and collaborative environment.

  • Define and execute working backwards plans and mechanisms to successfully implement the Environmental services program in EU

  • Define and track the metrics and goals needed to measure success across critical work streams in the program

  • Proactively identify gaps or blockers to seller experience, propose solutions, and drive implementation across partner teams.

  • Actively seek ways to improve program related process efficiencies and effectiveness.

  • Communicate updates on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 5+ years’ experience in program or project management.

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence leaders and stakeholders across different functional groups.

  • Ability and interest in understanding and simplifying complex scenarios, and working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Strong judgment in balancing long-term strategic investments with near term business goals

  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable in a data driven environment.

  • High ownership, strong attention to detail and desire to work in a collaborative, dynamic and intellectually curious environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Business Analytics / SQL experience.

  • Experience in designing, implementing and managing operations of technical products or online services.
