Amazon Program Manager , Supply Chain in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Description

Amazon is looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong delivery record and senior leadership experience to own and manage strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects. Our team drives forecasts, plans, and optimizes the flow of billions of units each year. We own the weekly fulfilment centre plans for the entire Europe network and drive mid-long term decisions including site launches, conversions, capacity expansions (buildouts), at the most optimal cost while incorporating impact on network dynamics. The job will be leading several of these cross-functional initiatives, to help optimize the utilization of our assets, and generate multi-million savings. This high-visibility role will require working with business and software teams across the company and around the world to prioritize projects which support both new products/programs and existing operations and supply chain systems. Key job responsibilities

• Ownership of a high-visibility sales and operations plan for internal customers. Ensure on-time delivery of the plan, providing customers with a mid to long-term view on expected volumes and capacity, which are critical inputs for these teams to run their operation, transportation and labour planning.

• Analyzing future network programs and designs to understand their impact on capacity, cost, speed, and reliability

• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive analysis, business cases and alignment with business stakeholders

• Write and review strategic documents to update senior leadership on the progress of network programs

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
