Here’s a snapshot of your day:

  • Forge strong relationships with stakeholders, including local end users, management, CBRE leadership, regional clients, service providers, vendors, and landlords.

  • Lead a team of two talented individuals based in Sydney and Melbourne.

  • Support your team's growth and development, providing them with exciting opportunities.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of facility management operations, from hard to soft services.

  • Deliver outstanding service level agreements, ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Keep a close eye on expenses, raising purchase orders, and approving invoices.

  • Take charge of end-to-end project management for minor works and extra projects across various locations.

  • Collaborate closely with project management leadership to ensure timely delivery and meet deadlines.

  • Own front of house operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and a well-manned front desk.

  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and policies.

  • Ensure contractor compliance with OH&S obligations, including site inductions, insurances, and permits to work.

The ideal candidate:

  • Bring at least 5 years of experience in operational facilities management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Previous management experience would be highly desirable. Strong interest in leading a team is a must.

  • Ability to build strong business relationships, trust and rapport.

  • Strong financial acumen with calculating and estimating cost, assisting with budget development of site and managing costs against budget.

  • Hold great knowledge of the laws and legal framework that govern building management and maintenance.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Experience with CMMS, Work Order Management and other related enterprise systems.

  • Strong technical ability, quickly picking up new systems and processes.
