UBS Financial Services Operations Specialist in Mexico D.F., Mexico

We’re looking for an operations specialist to:
•\tmanage trade process, settlement and control for market transactions, interacting with the middle and front offices to resolve trade discrepancies or operational risks
•\tperform daily 4-eye check of market trades, monitoring unaffirmed trades
•\tmanage transactional and settlement queries from external and internal clients, like trading counterparties, front office and finance
•\tsee that control processes and procedures (reconciliation, payments etc.) all comply with our standards, policies and regulatory requirements
•\tsupport ongoing client, regulatory and audit requirements on regular and ad-hoc basis
•\tprovide reporting to internal and external clients, and support ad-hoc projects (including process review and change)

You’ll be working in the Operations team in Mexico. We’re responsible for timely, accurate processing of transactions and events, including booking and handling of queries. As a trade and process specialist, you’ll play an important role in making sure our processes are compliant and positive for our clients.
•\tideally1 year of previous experience in back office/operations environment
•\tgood understanding of fixed income and equityproducts and trade lifecycle
•\tproficient computer skills including MS office, with advanced MS Excel
•\texperience of interacting with middle and front offices to resolve trade queries and issues
•\tbachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economy or a related field
•\tadaptable, organized and able to adjust communication style to audience
