POSITION SUMMARY Is responsible for directing, securing, and managing the Operational Technology assets from the IT infrastructure. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Is responsible for the integration of IT and OT and establishing best practices and procedures to secure the environment. Develop and establish standards and procedures and establish the methodology for the control, security, and integrity of OT resources. Maintains and administers third party OT systems and recommends upgrades. Monitors OT network infrastructure workload and performance. Recommends and proposes acquisition of hardware and software systems. Works with the controls and operations group to assure timely delivery of systems and security on the OT network. Maintains contact with vendors of hardware and software products. Researches new hardware, software and security infrastructure specific to the Midway OT architecture. Serve on various teams. Performs other essential functions as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Preferred bachelor's degree in computer science with five (5) years of experience with information technology infrastructure and systems. Experience on personal computers, servers, and network infrastructure with exposure to Linux/UNIX operating systems a plus; or acceptable equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with, or exposure to Operational Technology ideas and concepts. SPECIAL SKILLS Logical approach to problem solving. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office environment with plant support possible. Travel to plant locations.
