Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in technical program management, software development, or system architecture.

  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to collaborate with stakeholders globally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile devices or Hardware/Software programs.

  • Experience in AI and Machine Learning software platforms.

  • Experience in Tools development life cycle and deployment and working with end-user groups.

  • Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams, while helping deliver against backlogs.

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

  • Manage complex and large scale software execution projects by working with multiple cross-functional teams to deploy AI and Machine Learning software experiences on Google Tensor based product offerings.

  • Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives when necessary. Ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be highly effective. Develop broad domain and technical knowledge.

  • Work closely with our leads, partners to plan, and manage our multi-year product features roadmap by identifying risk areas, driving mitigation efforts and balancing priorities to drive momentum and progress.

  • Interface with engineering managers and engineers across both software and hardware to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources. Drive features, track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders.
