Your role

Do you like to err on the side of safety? You’ll help us protect our reputation, financial health and long-term interests by helping us identify, measure and control risks. You'll:

• assist senior members of our team, helping us make global projects happen

• support business areas on laws, regulations and rules that govern their day-to-day activities

• advise the business of regulatory development

• coordinate updates to guidelines and manuals across the region

• check that marketing materials are in line with policies and procedures

• assist with local monitoring and surveillance where possible

Graduate Talent Program

To start with you’ll take part in UBS Discovery, a training program to bring you up to speed with our industry, what we do and how we do it.

All our programs break down complex information into manageable elements. And, as well as on- and off-the-job technical training, you’ll have a personal development opportunities for improving general job skills and broadening your network of contacts. GTPs in C&ORC will have the opportunity to rotate through our Primary Risk teams, including Market Risk and Credit Risk.

You’ll work in Compliance & Operational Risk Control (C&ORC). We focus on the regulatory and compliance framework applicable to the global compliance and operational risk control function of our investment banking.

Your expertise:

Your experience and skills

You need to be a senior graduating in Dec 2018 or May/June 2019 and have a 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA. It doesn’t matter what you’re studying. (Really, it doesn’t.) But we’d like to see evidence that you can:

• analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision

• plan, organize and communicate well

• make things happen

• stick with a task

• work in a team

• come up with ideas

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
