As an Alternative Investments Consultant in the Family Office Solutions Group (FOSG), you partner with Private Wealth Advisors to proactively engage Family Office and Ultra High Net Worth clients and prospects with net worth of $100mm and above. You will work directly with Private Wealth Advisors, clients and prospects to provide expertise in Alternative Investments Products strategy and implementation. Ideally, you have expertise in one of: (i) Private Equity and Real Estate or (ii) more liquid Hedge Fund strategies. The role will focus on the Family Office client segment with the objective of driving net new money and revenue growth. You will be in a dialogue with advisors and clients surrounding integration of those strategies within their investment portfolios. You will provide front-to-back lifecycle education and marketing of the full Alternative Investments platform in coordination with the group’s product development and origination teams. This entails a full understanding of all details pertaining to the Alternative Investments and UBS platforms, underlying assets, associated Firm research, portfolio positioning, systems, client eligibility and risk considerations.
You will be part of the newly created Family Office Solutions Group (FOSG), comprising senior products experts from different areas and dedicated to serving 100m+ clients. You will partner with Private Wealth Advisors to proactively engage UHNW clients and prospects. While being part of FOSG, you will report to and remain part of the Alternative Investments team having a dual reporting lines into head of FOSG and your IPS product head.
• an MBA and CFA preferred
• minimum of 10+ years of prior experience in Alternative Investments or a comparable role
• a deep understanding of the Alternative Investments business and products, including hedge funds, fund of funds, exchange funds, private equity, private real estate and managed futures and expertise in one of: (i) Private Equity and Real Estate or (ii) Hedge Fund strategies.
• active Series 7 and 66 licenses
• expertise on regulations, compliance policies, desk procedures and guidelines
