Finance Summer Internship

Fitch is currently seeking four interns to join our Finance department. The role will support members of the Finance department and focus on enhancement of processes, daily tasks, and key projects.

We'll Count on You To:

• Assist members of the team on day to day tasks as well as focus on number of specific long-term projects or special assignments as needed
• Interface with various departments to gather information and resolve finance-related issues
• Aid with the documentation of current processes, propose solutions and communicate results
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies, regulations, and laws
• Participate in the implementation of new processes and systems to enhance financial operations

What You Need to Have:

• Rising junior or senior at an accredited university, preferably working towards a degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics
• Self-starter who can understand objectives, work independently and is highly motivated
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team oriented, with an ability to effectively build relationships
• High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information

What Would Make You Stand Out:

• Ideal candidate will have strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Desire to further grow and develop business acumen in a financial services setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected hourly rate will be $30.00. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
