UBS Financial Services M&A Business Analyst in New York, New York
Are you skilled in business analysis that enables change and enhancements? Do you have the proven ability to analyze processes, products and service?
We’re looking for a Business Analyst for:
•\tManagement and coordination of Global M&A League Table credit filings (all M&A deals, all regions)
o\tincluding monthly Dealogic M&A fee reconciliation across regions
o\tcoordination of responses to challenges
•\tQuarterly updating of Global M&A Credentials
•\tGlobal M&A Awards submissions
•\tManagement and maintenance of M&A web / M&A library posted materials and templates
o\tincluding ownership of certain presentations for regular updating, e.g., “M&A Environment” materials, M&A Tombstone books, etc.
•\t Management of Global M&A reporting
o\tincluding global advisory (M&A and Non-M&A) forecasts and plans
o\tincluding global Missed Deals
•\tManagement and maintenance of all M&A opportunities and pipeline in Banker Portal, for all stages of deal lifecycle (pitching through completion)
o\tincludes proactive chasing of deal teams for latest updates and collaborating with the Conflict Clearance Unit (CCU)
o\tweekly review and updating of new deal opportunities and status changes to ensure appropriate weighting in pipeline
o\tchasing of invoicing team and deal teams to ensure timely booking of fees to PnL
•\tManage Global M&A Marketing Priorities, cross-regional and intra-regional
•\tAssist with Monthly revenue sign-off, quarterly SOX sign-off and support of CCAR and DFAST M&A models
•\tAd hoc analyses and presentations for M&A Heads and M&A team
•\tSchedule and manage cross-border M&A Americas marketing tours
•\tCreate and roll-out BP Sell-side database
•\tPartner with CCU team on business selection and conflict clearance topics to help optimize the platform's competitive positioning and revenues
o\tclient selection discussions and analysis
o\tfee potential analysis
o\tmanage information flow thru deal lifecycle (i.e. process updates)

• ideally one year of experience in a similar role within the financial sector
• excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor style to your audience
• inquisitive, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related discipline.
