Your role:

  • Periodic KYC Review (\"PKR\") Program lead responsible for the successful completion of required PKR completions based on client risk rating (i.e. frequency) and event-driven scenarios (e.g., jurisdictional move, PEP status)

  • Apply technical skills and knowledge of regulatory standards, laws, statutory requirements, etc. to accounts that require PKR review

  • Escalation, where appropriate, and work closely with UBS' Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) team members, forging a positive partnership across functional departments

  • Allocate case/work-load, prioritize and manage population given the mix of risk rated accounts against resource capacity effectively

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on potential key risks identified during the EDD review process (e.g., SOW corroboration, negative news/adverse media screening, collection of required UBO/partner documentation, customer activity reviews, client risk rating, etc.)

  • Provide recommendations for PKR process improvement techniques, efficiency levers while meeting regulatory requirements

  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly metrics based on production against forecast - apply advanced data analytics to forecast need for headcount planning based on risk rating, product type, complexity of PKR review

Your team:

You’ll be working in the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) team. You will be a member of the UBS AG Private Bank which is an OCC regulated entity. The bank primarily provides lending and investment management solutions for Client Advisors and Financial Advisors with clients who want to book in the United States.

Your expertise:

  • Experienced in matters relating to BSA/AML programmatic elements and implemented/recommended key procedural controls, procedures and processes into a BSA/AML program based on peer bank group leading practices and regulatory requirements

  • Understanding of key topics within the client lifecycle management process, including: Source of Wealth corroboration, negative news and adverse media screening, collection of required UBO/partner documentation, nature and purpose of account, monitoring/mitigating of potential suspicious transactions, changes in regulatory rules, recent trends and enforcement actions, peer group leading practices, client risk rating, other AML related red flags

  • Experienced in developing and implementing BSA/AML related frameworks, policies and procedures utilizing a Risk Based Approach

  • Experienced with appropriate law, rules and regulations pertaining to BSA/AML statutory and non-statutory requirements, including, Bank Secrecy Act, PATRIOT Act, FFIEC Examination Manual, FinCEN CDD Rule, etc.

  • Management / Risk Consulting experienced preferred

  • Understanding of wealth management products and services

  • At least 5 years of experience
