Are you a Privacy expert that can strategically drive a global cybersecurity compliance program forward?
In this role, you will help to develop and coordinate programs for identifying data, privacy and cybersecurity risks and how the mitigation of those risks is designed, implemented, measured, monitored and continuously improved through the firm's control framework. You will provide ongoing strategic leadership on the complex global regulatory landscape affecting privacy, cybersecurity and data processing including matters involving personal information and the use of data for analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies. You will forge close working partnerships with our legal, risk, technology, cybersecurity and other functions to understand and satisfy our legal obligations and other requirements pertaining to data, privacy and cybersecurity matters. You will promote and monitor adherence to applicable firm policies, standards, procedures and processes. Additionally, you will partner with Legal and Risk to provide up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory developments and changes, enforcement actions and industry trends and tools.
You will also collaborate with stakeholders to raise awareness of data, privacy and cybersecurity trends, emerging issues, remedial actions and program initiatives. You will lead or assist with the preparation and delivery of materials for firm leadership. More specifically, you will develop and execute training and awareness campaigns to educate firm members about data, privacy and cybersecurity matters and expectations. You will also Partner with Firm Legal and Risk to provide firm-level expertise on data, privacy and cybersecurity matters.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Partner with our Global Privacy Office and Legal and Risk functions on the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the global data, privacy and cybersecurity compliance program including on the leadership, risk management, governance, awareness and education, and monitoring and response building blocks.
Help to lead a program for identifying and mitigating data, privacy and cybersecurity risks
Develop insights and maintain transparency globally on privacy, cyber and AI legal and regulatory compliance risk and provide advisory support on driving mitigation of high-risk activities.
Act as global thought leader in privacy, cyber and AI legal and regulatory compliance space, including actively participating in external industry peer groups.
Support management of global risk-based privacy, cyber and big data compliance programs, including written program standards, trainings, and tools, in consultation with Risk, business unit Chief Compliance Officers and other constituents.
Provide strategic direction and advice to businesses and corporate functions
Stay on top of changes in global laws, regulatory enforcement trends, and other environmental changes.
What youll need:
5 years in a legal or compliance role handling risks related to privacy or cybersecurity.
Advanced knowledge of global privacy, cyber and AI/Data laws and regulations.
Stellar project management skills with the ability to lead multiple work streams
Technical data risk expertise with superior knowledge in regulatory related matters as well as the intercultural agility to work within multiple and diverse countries and cultures.
Itd be a plus if you had:
Life insurance and asset management industry experience are preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams
Ability to evolve compliance methodologies
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification desired
