Responsibilities:

Working under the direction of the VP – Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), this position will lead capabilities related to Business Continuity Management and specific areas of Enterprise Risk Management. This role currently has direct reports related to Business Continuity.

  • Provide oversight for the existing corporate Business Continuity Management program, including local and corporate Business Continuity plan development and testing, Crisis Management plans, and Pandemic Plan.

  • Coordinate with Information Technology for Disaster Recovery capabilities and testing. This program impacts every ACFC business area and related facility and requires ongoing collaboration with senior leadership.

  • Provide leadership for planning and execution in response to business continuity events, related to people, process, technology and third party disruptive emergencies and management of crises related to other risks that may impact the organization.

  • Develop ERM methodologies for the assessment, analysis and management of enterprise risks and provide for monitoring and reporting of risk information. Support the teams in addressing identified gaps and opportunities and in strategic initiatives as well as implementing internal controls.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as directed by the Vice President, ERM, the senior Corporate Compliance and Risk Management Committee and/or senior leadership related to risks and impacts.

  • Coordinate with other ERM Directors to ensure that roles, responsibilities and activities across the Enterprise Risk Management functions provide an integrated view and support model for ACFC business continuity and risk management processes.

  • As needed, develop and provide results, reporting and metrics to senior leadership.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Master’s Degree (preferred).

  • 10+ years experience.

Other Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in Business Continuity Management and enterprise risk identification, assessment and management.

• Experience in developing metrics, dashboards and reporting to inform leadership.

• Ability to drive and manage change across the organization.

• Strong facilitation, collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to build cross-functional partnerships and to influence leadership at all levels.

• Innovative and creative. Able to embrace change and think outside the box.

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to apply good judgment and resolve ambiguities.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated with demonstrated project management skills.

• Strong analytical and research skills, able to synthesize information to provide practical business solutions to accomplish pragmatic, meaningful results.

• Working knowledge of the healthcare industry.

• Current understanding of technology and cyber risks impacting organizations.
