Job Purpose

Seeking an experienced Data Analytics professional who is data-driven and detail-oriented. This individual will help establish process development and support continuous improvements in our Global Engineering community. Data has the power to help create better strategies for developing products and improve our employees' efficiency. Using actionable and persistent insights, based on a high-quality data platform, helps Dana and Global Engineering make more impactful decisions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with global engineering teams to improve the R&D governance and oversee advancing processes, and digital analytics approaches utilizing the project data within Engineering's digital footprint. These tools include Planview PPM Pro, Siemen Teamcenter and SAP ERP.
• Steer targeting strategies that improve project planning value and focus on efficiency initiatives.
• Define and track progress towards key milestones, as well as outline the data and analytics roadmap strategy required to enable these efforts
• Guide the analytics driving the Monthly Review process for Engineering to ensure continued growth, incrementality, and strong project knowledge
• Propose optimization among the digital footprint, unlocking ideas for a more frictionless process and improved user experience

Qualifications: * 2+ years of progressive experience in data science or analytics * Versed in digital analytics, database configuration, and business acumen * Experience in leading a customer-first digital strategy, with knowledge of Customer Data Platforms or similar technologies * Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, Power BI, and PowerApps * Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science, or related field
