Are you passionate about coordinating multiple tasks and deliverables? Do you have strong analytical skills and attention to detail? We’re looking for someone in the Intraday Liquidity Management (ILM) stream who can:
analyse a large amount of data to define rule sets and intraday liquidity risk metrics for management reporting
analyse, simulate, and proof processing mechanism planned to be introduced in the real-time tool
test new ILM logics on existing data and compare the outcome with existing reports
be comfortable working in a UAT/ lab environment, working with the users to showcase the changes
interpret regulatory requirements on intraday liquidity management and ensure full compliance of UBS implementations
collaborate with the respective businesses to develop intraday liquidity management reports and analyses
establish, develop and maintain data provision and reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and reporting timeliness
define requirements and support IT implementation for strategic solution and tactical fixes
review the underlying data from our reporting database, doing data integrity checks, investigations and analyses
contribute to projects being on schedule and meeting client needs
conduct analysis meetings between Business, IT, Stakeholders and Management
maintain documentation for project deliverables
Group Treasury is responsible for the efficient management of UBS's financial resources and ALM is a trading business that manages UBS's balance sheet portfolio risks. Together, they manage and optimize the Banks consumption of balance sheet capacity, capital, liquidity and funding and manage the risk exposure of the consolidated balance sheet.
Your team focuses on Intraday Liquidity Management. We are responsible within GTALM Business Transformation for the change initiative related to the design and the implementation of the future intraday liquidity management solution for UBS and its entities.
University degree in finance/economics or scientific discipline preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a quantitative finance role specifically with experience of Linux operating system (basic devOps and shell scripting), Python (Pandas and Numpy), SQL and Java Script (basic angular JS)
Numerical agility and ability to work with a large amount of numbers
Strong analytical skills, mathematical fluency, and programming abilities (e.g. Matlab, Python, SAS, R, C++, Java, SQL, noSQL, Spark or Revo-r) including scientific libraries (e.g. Numba, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy) are a plus but Python, Linux, Java Script and SQL are must-have's
Hands-on experience with big data analytics and working with unstructured data – it is vital that the candidate can demonstrate their approach to 'cleaning' data coming into the environment
Good understanding of the end-to-end components like data storage, cloud computing, interfaces and visualization
Able to facilitate and drive issue resolution and act responsibly and analytically in the event of stress or pressure
Highly numerate with logical analytical thought process and attention to detail but also able to distill complex problem sets into easy to understand solutions and explain to a user base their findings
A strong communicator (written and verbal), comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
Known for ensuring project timelines are achieved
Able to deal with changing requirements and challenges, to juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously

eager to solve complex problems with multidisciplinary teams
an effective verbal and written communicator
fluent in English (other languages considered a plus)
