UBS Financial Services Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst in Opfikon, Switzerland

Your role:

Are you passionate about coordinating multiple tasks and deliverables? Do you have strong analytical skills and attention to detail? We’re looking for someone in the Intraday Liquidity Management (ILM) stream who can:

  • interpret regulatory requirements on intraday liquidity management (ILM) and ensure full compliance of UBS implementations

  • analyse a large amount of payment and reference data to define rule sets and intraday liquidity risk metrics for ILM reporting

  • collaborate with the respective businesses to develop intraday liquidity management reports and analyses

  • review, analyze and challenge current data sources and reporting process

  • establish, develop and maintain data provision and reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and reporting timeliness

  • define requirements and support IT implementation for strategic solution and tactical fixes

  • contribute to projects being on schedule and meeting client needs

  • conduct analysis meetings between Business, IT, Stakeholders and Management

  • maintain documentation for project deliverables

You’ll be working in the Business Transformation team responsible for the implementation of the GTALM change initiatives, which is actively driving our innovation and transformation agenda. We are a very dynamic, engaged and result-oriented team, and we are passionate in delivering high quality change services within a demanding and challenging environment.

Your team focuses on Intraday Liquidity Management. We are responsible within GTALM Business Transformation for the change initiative related to the design and the implementation of the future intraday liquidity management solution for UBS and its entities.

Your expertise:

You have:

  • University degree in finance/economics or scientific discipline preferred

  • A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the banking industry, in reporting, liquidity or risk management preferred

  • Numerical agility and ability to work with a large amount of numbers

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill sets

You are:

  • Able to facilitate and drive issue resolution and act responsibly and analytically in the event of stress or pressure

  • A strong communicator (written and verbal), comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels

  • Known for ensuring project timelines are achieved

  • Able to deal with changing requirements and challenges, to juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously

  • detail oriented, structured and methodical

  • an organized individual who is able to prioritize activities and follow them through to completion

  • eager to solve complex problems with multidisciplinary teams

  • fluent in English (other languages considered a plus)
