About the Role:

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting advanced research, data mining, reporting and interpretation of company performance metrics. This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.

What You’ll Do:

• Generate and review reports using aggregate data from multiple sources to assist in creating a complete evaluation, improvement, or recommendation.

• Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to escalated requests from management and vendors.

• Understand and work with advanced scenario planning tools and models. Investigate new trends in general business conditions.

• Identify opportunities for large improvements among the clients and company.

• Work with personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.

• Review the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.

• Act as subject matter expert for key systems and processes and day-to-day functions.

• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

• Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

• Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

• Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS or equivalent experience) from a four-year college or university.

  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience.

  • Previous real estate experience a PLUS

  • Microsoft Power Apps, SmartSheet, PowerBI and/or Tableau expertise, experience in data modeling and relational databases, advanced project management, strong client-facing communications, and knowledge of the corporate real estate outsourcing industry.

  • Ability to provide informal assistance such as technical mentorship, and/or training to coworkers.

  • Capacity to lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employees.
