Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Cost Accountant for a reputable manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting and will be accustomed to manufacturing processes, bill of materials, standard costing and managing inventory across multiple plant sites. Experience with implementation projects will be considered an advantage. This role will be fully based in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the bill of materials for product costing.

• Handle standard costing and assist in establishing selling prices.

• Coordinate with various teams to control inventory levels across multiple plant sites.

• Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, and conduct research and perform analytical studies in regard to cost analyses and profitability.

• Support and assist with implementation projects and system improvements when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum 4+ years of progressive cost accounting experience within a manufacturing setting.

• In-depth knowledge of bill of materials and standard costing.

• Experience managing inventory across multiple locations.

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements
