IFF is looking for a Assistant Finance Manager, Malaysia to lead the finance function for IFF Malaysia.

This position can be based in Penang, Malaysia and will report into Regional Controller, Great Asia.

How you will contribute and lead

• Responsible for the timely and accurate closing of the company’s monthly and yearly financial statements.

• Working closely with the regional center to ensure accurate and timely processing and approval of vendor invoices and employee claims.

• Support operation and business reporting.

• Uphold sound internal controls in the company’s operational processes and implement improvement plans as needed.

• Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors and internal auditors in the timely completion of audits and tax related filings.

• Liaise with government authorities and prepare necessary reports for monthly and quarterly submission.

• Participate in continuous improvement of accounting process and ad hoc finance related projects in accordance with the company’s direction.

• Accountable for accurate and timely financial month end closing in accordance to corporate guidelines and schedules.

• Communicate with a broad range of stakeholders to complete the process and to work on tight deadline.

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong Microsoft Office suite (Especially Excel).

• Minimum Working experience of 5 years.

• Sound Financial and Analytical Skills.

• Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and be proactive.

• Maintain high standard of attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.

• Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively cross functionally with others in the region.
