Account Manager – Area Sales

Plans and executes sales targets and activities in a specified region, for the portfolio of a unit, in order to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers, and to achieve defined commercial targets.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Plans sales volumes and potential of all customers in the region assigned.

  • Provides information via CRM for forecasts and planning.

  • Analyzes the specific market conditions and builds a sound market related network of stakeholders.

  • Prepares customer contacts.

  • Prepares/coordinates and negotiates proposals, in cooperation with Proposal Mgt/other involved professionals and management.

  • Coordinates the realization of assignments, may coordinate, and contribute to set up respective product developments, projects or services programs.

  • Completes sales and revenue related key reporting.

  • Contributes to the development of After-Market business in the region.

  • May act as a point of contact to customers in commercial matters and influences collaboratively within the organization to secure customer support.

Requirements:

  • B.Eng / B.Sc in Electronics / Electrical / Control / Mechatronics Engineering

  • 3 - 5 years of related working experience in sales and business development

  • Knowledge in business administration / marketing would be an added advantage

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as experience in customer handling

  • Solid understanding of the Malaysian industry sector and its market drivers

  • Furthermore, you are experienced in working efficiently as part of a matrix organization, having excellent knowledge of English
