Summary of Responsibilities

The recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring qualified candidates for a variety of property positions. This position cultivates a partnership with hiring managers and shares best practices by using a consultative, approach to address their needs. This role also ensures effective attraction, assessment, selection and onboarding of high performing, diverse and sustainable talent. The recruiter will advocate for the best-in-class candidate experience in order to ensure the acquisition of high caliber talent by effectively leveraging available technologies to locate, engage and attract prospective candidates to drive business results.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives

· Develop and implement recruiting strategies to identify and recruit high quality candidates.

· Facilitate all aspects of the recruiting process including, but not limited to, reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screenings or first interviews, and scheduling hiring manager interviews.

· Partner with hiring managers to understand the business needs in order to attract and secure a high-performing talent pipeline.

· Facilitate hiring events throughout Avenue5’s book of business.

· Leverage social media (LinkedIn, job boards, user groups etc.), and applicant tracking systems to quickly identify ideal candidates.

· Source talent through onsite events including industry networking events and hiring events.

· Ensure data integrity by accurately and timely updating candidate information in the recruitment technology.

· Provide timely reports on recruiting efforts, employment activity and recruitment effectiveness to property management and Avenue5 leadership.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

· High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

· One to three years of college / technical school recruiting preferred.

· One to three years of experience recruiting both exempt and non-exempt positions.

· Three plus years of experience in multi-family property management at the assistant property manager level or higher is required.

· Understanding of third party management, communication with clients, and different types of multi -family assets.

Skills and Requirements

· In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws as related to hiring and employment practices.

· Track record of accomplishments and high-impact results.

· Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.

· Intermediate level knowledge with Google Sheets and MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

· Ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Required to pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.

Scheduling

· Required to maintain a regular schedule which may also require working outside of regular schedule, weekends, and non-traditional holidays.

· Ability to travel (including overnight) up to 25%.

. Required to work full time in our Phoenix corporate office.

Environment

· Exposure to environment typically found in an office building.
