Description

AS, BS and BA Level Internships in Human Services fields.

Access interns observe, assist, and learn from experienced staff in a variety of settings. Interns working with and observing Direct Support Professionals will have the opportunity to be a part of an interdisciplinary team (clinical staff, nurses, families, advocates, etc.) providing services to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Interns will complete tasks and provide support under the direction of a Supervisor.

Interns with observe and support Direct Support Professionals who provide assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and health maintenance. Direct Support Professionals also support individuals with developing independent living skills, including, but not limited to money management, community integration and appropriate social skills.

In order to intern with us, you must be enrolled in a degree program that will grant you credit hours for your internship.
