CAE USA INC Operations and Project Manager - Defence in Riyadh - Air Base, Saudi Arabia

About This Role

We are on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Operations and Project Manager to manage the delivery of our UAV (Beginner & Intermediate) flight training program for the KSA Air Force.

In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with the seamless management of our training facility’s daily operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Additionally, you will be called upon to lend your expertise to a handful of project management tasks, aiding in the successful execution of our training missions.The role will involve a mix of operations management, project management, and support for emerging opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management (50%):

  • Oversee the operations management of B-UAV and I-UAV programs.

  • Ensure efficient delivery and performance of all operational activities.

  • Monitor and report on the status of operational activities.

  • Project Management (20%):

  • Manage procurement for I-UAV live flying devices.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Support for Emerging Opportunities (30%):

  • Assist with capture and solutions for new business opportunities.

  • Support proposal development and submission.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

  • Must have previous experience with military programs.

  • Technical background with past work experience in technical roles

  • Experience in operational management and people-leading roles such as HR.

  • Familiarity with ISO standards.

  • PMP certification

  • Solutions lead experience and the ability to use CRM systems like Salesforce.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reporting Structure

The Operations and Project Manager will report directly to the Regional Services Manager and have a dotted line report to the General Manager.
