Develop a fluency in all Advisory products/platforms and products offered at UBS. Be able to effectively articulate our overall UBS Advisory value proposition
Develop and present advisory sales content via conference calls and in person sales meetings
Spend 3-4 days per week in branches presenting at sales meetings and holding one-on-one consultations with FA's addressing advisory education, practice management and product implementation
Provide general guidance and analysis around the investment consulting process (client profiling, asset allocation/portfolio construction, implementation, and client review) and to effectively integrate the Advisory product offering
Advise FAs on practice management – how to effectively run an advisory business and navigate platform migration/logistics.
Build rapport with FAs in your assigned coverage region and proactively address needs by providing meaningful insights and suggestions on a FAs book of business or client relationships
Integrate knowledge of products and services from other business groups to identify cross selling opportunities
The Advisory Consultants are dedicated to providing expertise to Financial Advisors (FAs) around UBS advisory platforms, product implementation and portfolio construction. Consultants will strategize with FAs on how to best utilize UBS intellectual capital, offerings and capabilities with the goal of driving increased advisory AUM and revenue. The focus is to identify opportunities within a client's portfolio to add value via advisory solutions. The consultant will have a dedicated coverage region, be located in market and will spend much of their time meeting with FAs and Field Leaders to identify opportunities to drive business, educate and train Advisors and meet with client's to represent the firm's advisory platform and engage portfolio and asset allocation discussions.
Series 7 and 66 licenses (required within 60 days of hire)
7-10+ Years of Experience in a Wealth Management field facing sales role (preferably in an Advisory capacity) or an asset management sales role
Able to discuss and have full understanding of the broad market and economic environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
