Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision, provides all services required as a therapist in a psychiatric partial hospitalization program including but not limited to conducting assessments, facilitating didactic and process groups, utilization review, treatment and discharge planning and documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health related field required

• State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Family Therapist (LFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required

• Minimum one (1) year experience working with psychiatric and/or chemical dependency patients

• Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system
