This is the Invention age, and this is where you come in. The position, located in Shanghai, is responsible to perform specialized local accounting activities for the Corporate’s APAC legal entities. This position will engage with multiple stakeholders across Accounting and the business. This role will be responsible for activities such as:

The primary focus of the role is to:

  • Receive, verify and scan AP invoices

  • Receive and verify employee reimbursement documents

  • Tracker & File AP invoices and ER

  • Review VAT invoices and pass them to Tax team

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Invoice Processing

  • Receive Invoices from envelops or E-mail

  • Sort invoices by PO/OU and for Non-PO sort by Bill TO/OU

  • Invoice Verification; such as bill to entity details, Tax codes, Vendor address, ship to address, currency, Tax bifurcations etc. bill entity, tax ID (18 digitals), company address, company bank account, vendor name, finance seal, PO number

  • Post Non-complaint invoices back to Vendors

  • Daily e-mail tracker to Finance teams for invoice processing

  • Scan invoice document one by one to PDF, by OU/invoice type/date

  • File hard copy invoices as per Local tax regulation for required period

  • Review invoices for VAT deduction, pass the original deduction part to China tax team

  • Review/respond AR confirmation sent by vendor's auditor

Expense Reports Processing

  • Receive hard copy expense reports and receipts from local offices

  • Check ER against receipts to ensure package is complete

  • Review invoices for VAT deduction, pass the original deduction part to China tax team

  • Daily E-mail tracker with ER number and status (Scanned & Non-complaint/rejected invoices) for follow up

  • File ER by Date/OU

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years working experience, high-talent candidates with less experience is considerable

  • Fluent in Korean / Japanese -written and verbal (preferred)

  • Can read traditional Chinese characters

  • Experience in finance share service center (preferred)

  • Experience in processing Account Payables and Expense Reports (preferred)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Detail orientation and high responsibility making sure entry-level tasks completed accurately and timely

  • Able to identify issues, analyze issues and follow up per supervisor’s guidance. Able to learn from lessons

  • Able to keep stable performance under high pressure

  • Familiar with MS Office like Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

OR

Associate's degree and 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.
