Kemin Industries Sales Manager - Singapore/Taiwan, Kemin Human Nutrition & Health in site, Singapore
Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and expanding existing business relationships and developing new business opportunities in the dietary supplement, food and beverage market. The position is responsible for achieving the budgeted sales, margin, operating income and sales expense budget for the territory. The geographic territory this position will cover is the APAC Region. Ideal base would be Singapore or Taiwan. This is a field-based position that will work from a home office.

Responsibilities
Lead Kemin Human Nutrition and Health sales in the territory. Achieve consistent growth in sales and gross margin in accordance with annual sales budgets.
Act as the primary interface between customers and Kemin.
Collaborate with cross functional teams in developing and implementing a marketing plan for the territory.
Carry out specific responsibilities in each step of the sales process, which includes:
Identifying prospective customers
Developing, executing, documenting and maintaining sufficient customer sales projects to exceed sales growth expectations for the territory
Authoring and executing strategic plans for key customers.
Establishing relationships with individuals at the all levels of the customers’ organization
Making technical sales presentations on Kemin products/services
Cooperating with product development efforts
Obtaining at least 20 face-to-face meetings with customers each month
Continued relationship building and growth with customers after the sale
Enter and manage customer activity in database.
Develop cooperative relationships with key customers and industry groups to strengthen the integration of Kemin Human Nutrition and Health products into the dietary supplement, food and beverage industries.
Attend industry tradeshows, conferences and events.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor of Science degree, preference for biology, chemistry or food science degree with 5+ years sales experience working in the dietary supplement, food ingredient, beverage or pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated sales experience and success in technical team selling environment requiring lengthy and in-depth product development processes.
The ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency.
Must have and maintain an insurable driving record.
Must be willing to travel at least 50%.
