We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team based in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role is focused on supporting our litigation department with various tasks, including client contact, drafting documents, and coordinating filings. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining client confidentiality and ensuring efficient operation under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in the litigation department with various tasks

• Maintain regular client contact to provide updates and gather necessary information

• Draft legal documents for review by attorneys

• Request medical records and bills as required for case preparation

• Maintain the confidentiality of client information at all times

• Coordinate filings with courts and other legal institutions

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for document creation, management, and correspondence

• Prioritize tasks to ensure all work is completed efficiently and effectively

• Exhibit professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills in all interactions

• Leverage knowledge of legal terminology and procedures when performing tasks.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field

• Proven experience as a paralegal or similar role is ideal

• Knowledge of legal terminologies and principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe Acrobat & Excel

• Familiarity with Case Management Software and LexisNexis

• Ability to handle complaint administration and claim administration

• Experience in litigation, drafting legal documents, and briefing

• Excellent organizational skills for calendar management

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act in a professional manner at all times
